Dr. Christie Foreman, BSc.(Hons), DDS

Dr. Christie Foreman completed her BSc. degree at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia before completing her DDS degree at the University of Alberta. During her studies, she received numerous scholarships and awards including the Governor General's Silver Medal and Dental Alumni Association Prize for excellence in her academic and clinical work. She strives to deliver dental care in a gentle, honest manner with a focus on patient education and conservative, preventative techniques.

Dr. Foreman has lived in Banff since 2012 and enjoys giving back to the community. She and her team have volunteered at local daycares (Banff and Lake Louise), as well as Alberta Health Services (Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies) and also Town of Banff Settlement Services (Newcomer Orientation Week, After-School Program) to provide education and screenings. You can also find her team yearly at the health fairs at the Fairmont Banff Springs and Banff Centre, and sometimes in the Canada Day Parade!



Eleni Boundris, RDH (Hygienist)

Eleni is a Hygienist with Banff Dental Care


Eleni has been with Banff Dental Care since 2007. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, she moved to the Bow Valley in 2005 due to her love of the outdoors.


She is always eager to learn new techniques and skills in her field, including laser hygiene therapy, local anesthetic, and severe periodontal disease maintenance.


Eleni loves being a Hygienist as it allows her to make a real difference in the health and overall confidence of her patients. "Hearing someone say that they have been smiling more now than they have in years is very rewarding."


Jocelyn Large, RDH (Hygienist)

Jocelyn is a Hygienist with Banff Dental Care


Jocelyn is originally from St. Catharines, Ontario, and has been with Banff Dental Care since 2012.


She is committed to her patients with the primary goal of improving their overall health through motivation and education. She strives to stay current with the latest technologies in dental hygiene, and to treat her patients with a gentle manner and steady hand.


During her personal time, she loves snowboarding and other outdoor activities.




Katarina Morsley, RDA (Assistant)

Katarina is a Dental Assistant with Banff Dental Care

Katarina graduated from SAIT in 2010 and moved to Banff in the summer of that same year to join the team at Banff Dental Care. She enjoys helping our patients understand their treatment as well as making them comfortable during their visits.


In her spare time, together with her husband, she enjoys nature photography so she couldn't imagine working and living in a better town.


A keen Vitamix enthusiast, she regularly brings her creations to the office for her colleagues to try.



 

Shelby Guliak, Treatment Co-Ord.

Shelby is a Treatment Coordinator with Banff Dental Care

Shelby has worked in the dental industry for over 7 years. She began her career as registered dental assistant prior to becoming a treatment coordinator. Shelby still retains her RDA II license.


With her chairside and administrative experience, Shelby will guide patients through all treatment plans and insurance concerns. Patients can request to meet with Shelby separately from their dental visits if needed.


Shelby has lived in Banff for over 20 years, where she raised her daughter. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and outdoor activites.


Amanda Guadagno, Hyg. Co-Ord

Amanda is a Hygiene Coordinator with Banff Dental Care

Amanda administers our front desk, looking after patient appointments, insurance submissions, and advocating on behalf of patients to their insurance providers.


Having grown up in Portugal, Amanda moved to Banff in 2003, and has called it home ever since.


In her free time she loves to travel, hike and spend time taking photos around the Bow Valley.


Shalon Dresar, RDA (Assistant)

Shalon is a Dental Assistant with Banff Dental Care

Shalon is the newest addition to Banff Dental Care, joining in August 2015.


Shalon moved to the Bow Valley from London, Ontario. It has always been a long term goal of hers to live in the Rocky Mountains.


She is always looking forward to professional development courses to expand her industry knowledge and build new skills to improve patient care.


She has a passion for music and in her free time, she can be found at karaoke or open mic nights, supporting live local music and mountain biking.
