Dr. Christie Foreman, BSc.(Hons), DDS

Dr. Christie Foreman completed her BSc. degree at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia before completing her DDS degree at the University of Alberta. During her studies, she received numerous scholarships and awards including the Governor General's Silver Medal and Dental Alumni Association Prize for excellence in her academic and clinical work. She strives to deliver dental care in a gentle, honest manner with a focus on patient education and conservative, preventative techniques.

Dr. Foreman has lived in Banff since 2012 and enjoys giving back to the community. She and her team have volunteered at local daycares (Banff and Lake Louise), as well as Alberta Health Services (Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies) and also Town of Banff Settlement Services (Newcomer Orientation Week, After-School Program) to provide education and screenings. You can also find her team yearly at the health fairs at the Fairmont Banff Springs and Banff Centre, and sometimes in the Canada Day Parade!

Dr. Harry Harder

Dr. Harry Harder is the newest addition to our team. He has over 30 years' experience in general dentistry, and owned Glenmore Family Dental Care in Calgary for many of those years. He also enjoys volunteering and has participated in dental missions to third world countries. He now works as a dentist part-time to have more time to pursue his hobbies. We are very excited to welcome him to Banff Dental Care!

Jocelyn Large, RDH (Hygienist)

(Maternity Leave until Summer 2021)

Jocelyn has been with Banff Dental Care since 2012. She has received her diploma in Dental Hygiene at Cambrian College, graduating with honors. She won the Sudbury Canada wide science award upon graduation.

Jocelyn has taken additional courses including administration of local anaesthesia to effectively treat and manage treatment plans for periodontally compromised patients. She also acts as IPCC at our office. Jocelyn has also worked in the daycare and schools of her local community to screen and educate students. Jocelyn also enjoys missions volunteering abroad to offer dental care to those who do not have access to it. Jocelyn is also a volunteer with the Canmore Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.

In her spare time she enjoys her time in the mountains exploring. With her adventurous spirit travelling is her biggest passion.

Kyla Paluck, RDH (Hygienist)

Kyla graduated from Camosun College with a diploma in dental hygiene in 1999, and has been a practicing clinician ever since.

She is dedicated to enhancing the patient's overall understanding of their oral health, to providing thorough, gentle, and patient centred care. She is empathetic to each individual's concerns and needs, and strives to make their experience an interactive and enjoyable one.

Kyla has had the opportunity to participate in two volunteering missions - Nicaragua in 2004, and Bulgaria in 2008. She found both incredibly rewarding, and helped to broaden her knowledge of dental needs beyond Canadian borders.

She looks forward to welcoming patients to Banff Dental Care, and making your appointment as comfortable as possible.

Hannah Rawling, RDA (Assistant)

Hannah is our newest team member, having joined us in Oct. 2019. She has worked and lived in many parts of Canada and most recently has returned from the East Coast. She loves travelling and chatting about different parts of the world, so there's always a lot to talk about here in Banff with our diversity of patients!

Hannah is Dr. Foreman's primary chairside assistant, and she has worked in a variety of office settings and has learned many tips and tricks over the years to help your visit go smoothly. She is very excited to be living in such a beautiful area and seeing the mountains every day from our office!

We've heard that our patients love Hannah's calm, gentle presence and explanations of procedures.

She looks forward to seeing you soon at our office soon.


Katarina Morsley, Treatment Coord.

Katarina graduated from SAIT in 2010 and moved to Banff in the summer of that same year to join the team at Banff Dental Care. She assists our clinical team in getting patients to understand and accept the recommended treatment as well as making patients feel comfortable during their visits

Her many years of working with Banff Dental Care have allowed her to develop trusting relationships with many of our patients.

In her spare time, Katarina and her family enjoy biking, walking, playing tennis in our beautiful surroundings.

Living in small town, she has been able to be a part of many community connections.

Jill Rutten, Hygiene Coord.

Jill grew up in a small town in Southern Ontario. She went to Fanshawe College where she graduated from Medical Office Administration and moved to the Western part of Canada in 2016.

She enjoys taking advantage of all the mountains have to offer; skiing in the winter, and hiking and biking in the summer. She also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.

Jill is very passionate, enthusiastic, and hopes one day of travelling the world.

Ella Mackenzie, RDH (Hygienist)

We are very happy to have Ella join us to assist in covering Jocelyn's maternity leave.

Ella has the special distinction of being our only staff member who was born and raised in Banff! As a true local, she enjoys outdoor pursuits such as hiking, biking and camping.

Ella spent four years studying psychology at UBC Okanagan before realizing dental hygiene was her calling. She graduated from Camosun College dental hygiene program in 2018, and returned to Banff after graduation. She especially enjoys educating patients on their oral health, and creating individualized treatment plans.
